Looking for upcoming blues and jazz events near you? This is Joe’s running list of where to find them — the festivals, live shows, and weekly residencies happening around Niagara and beyond, all in one place.
Rather than trying to track down every show myself, I’ve partnered with the folks who know their calendars best. The Hogtown Allstars, Escarpment Blues Society, Sessions on the River, Seismic Blues, and Fonthill band-shell all keep their own schedules updated, and I link straight to them so you’re always looking at the most current listings — not a stale post from three months ago.
You’ll also find touring musicians here, like Jack de Keyzer, whose tour dates move around often enough that a static list would go out of date fast. Same goes for Ryan Ruicci’s Live Jukebox Experience, Johnny Max Band, and the crew behind Rock Talk with Rick — click through and you’ll land right on their current show info.
This page skews toward blues and jazz, since that’s where my heart is, but you’ll spot the occasional rock or general live-music listing too, like the OLG Stage lineup in Niagara Falls or the Southside Shuffle festival schedule. If it’s live and it’s worth catching, it’s worth a spot here.
