Joe On Rock Talk With Rick
I enjoyed a fun time chatting with Rick Laroche, host of Rock Talk With Rick, and hanging out at King of the Attic Studio with Chris Smith (owner/engineer).
The atmosphere was fun. Kim Germaine co-producer looked after the guests with their peeps, and fans of the show just wanting to be in the audience. She made everyone feel welcomed.
If you haven’t seen the video of my appearance on Rock Talk with Rick here it is. Your comments are appreciated.
As many of you know I have my opinions and love to share them.
What Rick does is allow you to voice those opinions. We need more of that. If we share opinions with open minds, a lot can be accomplished.
Keep in mind that opinions should be formulated and backed up with facts.
We may not always agree.
But open minds know how to compromise and create an opinion, based on facts, that everyone can live with. Open minded enough to evaluate and make changes as more facts are revealed.
I’ve debated many times with other people, some musicians, about how music is getting worse. If you are one of those people and are reading this, you know who you are.
I enjoyed watching your interview with Rick on ‘Rock Talk with Rick’, Joe. I especially enjoyed the part when you told the audience to embrace trying new music and bands. Personally, I love discovering new bands, and music from all over the world. I thought it was a good point. Too many people fall into a rut with not only listening to the same old music day after day, event after event, but also in all areas of life; food, hang out spots, clubs, TV shows, activities, etc. It is healthy to jump out of the hammy wheel now and then, break the rut, and try some new music, and food from all over the world, go someplace new, do something new, and meet new faces. If you never do anything new, you never learn anything new, you become stagnant in life, and in soul.
