Dawn Tyler Watson – Canada’s Queen of the Blues, backed by the talented musicians from the Ben Racine Band, continue to represent Quebec and Canada very well on the International Blues market. She started by winning the IBC (International Blues Challenge) in 2017.
Since then she has been touring many countries and winning multiple awards both in the USA and Canada.
In Canada, Dawn received her first Juno Award win for Blues Album Of The Year and recently won several awards at Toronto Blues Society Maple Blues Awards.
In the USA Dawn received her first Blues Music Award for Vocal Instrumentalist in the company of Mavis Staples, Shemekia Copeland, Curtis Salgado and Sugaray Rayford. In 2019 Dawn won the Award for Female Artist Of The Year at the Blues Blast Awards in Chacago with her CD Mad Love, that contines to receive rave reviews internationally and holding steady on the Roots Music Report charts for over 2 year.
Mad Love Wins the Canadian JUNO Award for Best Blues Album and Wins Recording Of The Year and Songwriter Of The Year at the Maple Blues Awards in Toronto.
