Thursday Night Concerts Are Back
So the schedule is out and it looks like another great line up at the Fonthill Bandshell.
Since 2007 volunteers have been presenting many great performers to a crowd that grows weekly.
The Peace Park is an awesome location, with a hillside for the audience to set up their chairs and at the bottom is a bandshell that works very well for the performers protecting them from inclement weather.
I really enjoy going and seeing so many old friends, and listening to lots of great music. The sound production is quite good, and with the addition of the farmers market and a variety of food and beverage vendors, it has become the place to be on a Thursday evening throughout the summer.
I give this music series 2 thumbs up and recommend everyone attend one or more of these great performances
Check out the website for more information including directions if you are not from the area. Don’t forget bring a chair, come early if you want a good spot and decent parking. Plan on trying out the great food and beverage offerings.
